Mei and Sky reached out to us through an international wedding network. They had already gotten married in China on August 15th – a symbolic date full of celebration. But before heading back to their lives in New York, where they live and work, they wanted something more: a visual memory of their love, and a meaningful way to honor their honeymoon. One day. One island. One unforgettable elopement in Sicily.
The perfect venue: Masseria Agnello
They chose Masseria Agnello, a restored 19th-century noble estate nestled between the rolling hills of Agrigento. Surrounded by olive trees, cliffs, and a distant view of the sea, this luxury venue offers peace, elegance, and a deep sense of place. The perfect backdrop for their story.
Mei prepared in one of the Masseria’s serene suites. Her dress was simple yet refined, allowing her to move freely through the Sicilian landscape. Sky, in a light suit, radiated that quiet joy that speaks louder than words.
Where history meets romance: the Valley of the Temples
After the portraits in Masseria Agnello, we moved to one of the most iconic archaeological sites in Italy: the Valley of the Temples. With its ancient Greek ruins bathed in golden light, it felt like stepping into a myth. As the sun set behind the columns, Mei and Sky held hands, their eyes full of wonder.
We didn’t need to pose them. Their connection, the way they looked at each other, did all the work. Every frame was a painting. Every shadow and breeze became part of the composition. This wasn’t just a location. It was a witness to their love.
